Information Services provides, maintains and supports the infrastructure 24 hours a day for all equipment to include the mobile data systems used by our deputies.
This includes mobile data terminals that provide valuable information to our deputies and allow them to create and access reports directly from their vehicles, run tags, run checks on persons, access mug shots and driver license information, receive and send email, and provides important information about the location of almost every law enforcement resource in the county.
The unit also maintains automated vehicle tag recognition systems which have the ability to scan thousands of vehicle tags an hour looking for stolen vehicles, missing persons at risk, Amber Alert vehicles and vehicles registered to wanted persons as well as digital in-car camera system that provides important information for evidence and documentation.
