Captain Bobby Green has been with the Highlands County Sheriff's Office in Corrections for 15 years. He began his career in Correction at Hardee Correctional Institute in 1991.where he served for two years. He earned his Law Enforcement Certificate in 2001; after completing the Cross-Over Academy at South Florida Community College. He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Organizational Management from Warner Southern College in 2006. He is a member of the South Central Florida Jail Inspection Team. He previously served as a Sergeant and Lieutenant supervising a detention squad. He was Operations Lieutenant before being promoted to Captain of the Security Division in 2007. He earned the ACA title of Certified Corrections Manager in 2009.
