Linda Travers has been a member of the HCSO since April, 2006. As the Nursing Administrator at the Sheriff's Office, she directs a staff of seven full time nurses and several part-timers, who provide care to the inmates on a twenty-four hour, seven day a week basis. She was previously employed by Florida Hospital for 17 years where she was a nursing supervisor. Nurse Travers received her Associate in Science degree in nursing from South Florida Community College where she also received her LPN and RN training.
